Raw mill foundation for the K2 Pyroprocessing line at National Cement’s plant in Ragland, Alabama.  Construction included installation of large post-tension cables and controlling the heat of hydration in the mass concrete. The mat foundation contains 8 horizontal bonded post-tension tendons and the four pedestals each contain 11 vertical tendons.  Each tendon contains 19 individual strands.  The tendons are 4” in diameter and each one weighs 600 pounds.
